Detailed Author Guidelines

Aim of the Guidelines

  • Welcome message for authors.
  • Journal publishes original, peer-reviewed, open-access research.
  • Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal.

Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear English.
  • British or American English may be used consistently.
  • Grammar should be professionally checked before submission.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Line spacing: 1.5.
  • A4 size with 1-inch margins.
  • Page numbers are required.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Original articles should include a structured abstract of 250–300 words.
  • Use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
  • Include 4–8 keywords and use MeSH terms when possible.

Word Limits and References

  • Follow the word limits listed for each article type.
  • Use Vancouver style for medical journals or APA 7th where journal-specific.
  • Include DOI wherever available and verify all citations.
  • Recent references are preferred.

Tables, Figures, and Abbreviations

  • Number tables and figures consecutively.
  • Mention the source if content is adapted.
  • Use minimum 300 dpi resolution for images.
  • Each figure should include a legend.
  • Define abbreviations on first use and use standard scientific abbreviations only.
  • Use SI units only.

Ethics, Plagiarism, and AI

  • Similarity should preferably stay below 10%, excluding references and standard phrases.
  • AI-generated or copied content without disclosure is not acceptable.
  • AI tools must be disclosed, and AI cannot be listed as an author.
  • Human ethics approval, animal ethics approval, trial registration, and patient consent should be included where applicable.

Author Declarations

  • Declare all financial, personal, and institutional conflicts of interest.
  • Add a funding statement with agency and grant number or state that no external funding was received.
  • Include author contributions using CRediT taxonomy.
  • Add a data availability statement.
  • Authors retain copyright and publish under the selected journal license.

Submission and Review

  • Initial editorial screening is followed by double-blind peer review.
  • The example timeline includes acknowledgement, screening, review, decision, revision, acceptance, and publication stages.
  • Desk rejection may happen for scope mismatch, high plagiarism, poor English, missing ethics approval, incomplete manuscripts, duplicate submission, fake data, or formatting issues.

Checklist, APC, and Contact

  • Submit the cover letter, title page, main manuscript, figures, tables, ethics approval, consent form, conflict statement, funding statement, ORCID IDs, references, plagiarism check, and AI disclosure if applicable.
  • Clearly mention submission fee, APC, waiver policy, and refund policy.
  • Use the editorial office contact details, submission email, editorial email, website, and office address provided by the journal.
